Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Develop novel error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum mechanics
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published work in Nature/Science or top-tier conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mechanisms
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion qubits
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
