Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols using superconducting qubits
- Develop error correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
