Responsibilities
- Architect and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects integrating quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for enterprise scalability
- Mentor junior researchers and foster innovation culture
- Secure federal and private research funding through grant proposals
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit designs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
