Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Conduct experimental research using D-Wave and IBM quantum processors
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with AI specialists to hybridize classical-quantum computing models
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and IP
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum information science or top-tier ML conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Expertise in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics principles
