Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Conduct experimental research on quantum hardware systems including superconducting qubits and photonic processors
- Develop error mitigation techniques and quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum computing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum computing solutions
- Publish research findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Drive innovation in quantum software development and quantum cloud platform integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research in quantum computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, interdisciplinary teams
