Responsibilities
- Architect Hybrid Systems: Design and implement hybrid classical-quantum neural networks capable of processing complex datasets beyond the capabilities of traditional silicon.
- Algorithm Optimization: Develop and refine quantum algorithms to solve specific AI problems, focusing on quantum supremacy and error mitigation.
- Model Training: Oversee the training of large-scale AI models on quantum processing units (QPUs) and manage the transition of models to NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Research & Development: Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging quantum computing architectures and integrating them into our AI stack.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of data scientists and quantum engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Security Implementation: Implement quantum-resistant encryption standards to protect proprietary AI models and data assets.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing or AI.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years specifically focused on quantum computing or hybrid systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Q# or Qiskit. Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar deep learning frameworks.
- Hardware Knowledge: Hands-on experience with cloud-based quantum processors (IBM Quantum Experience, Google Cirq) or on-premise quantum hardware.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to tackle complex, multi-disciplinary problems with innovative solutions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
