Job Description

We are seeking a visionary Quantum AI Architect to lead our initiative for the year 2026. As the industry accelerates toward the post-silicon era, Nebula Nexus is building the next generation of intelligence by bridging the gap between quantum mechanics and artificial neural networks. You will be at the forefront of defining how quantum algorithms enhance deep learning models, ensuring our solutions are scalable, secure, and revolutionary.

Why Join Us?

  • Work on cutting-edge technology that will define the future of computing.
  • Competitive compensation package with equity options.
  • Flexible remote-first culture with a premium office in the heart of SF.

If you are passionate about the intersection of quantum physics and machine learning, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Architect Hybrid Systems: Design and implement hybrid classical-quantum neural networks capable of processing complex datasets beyond the capabilities of traditional silicon.
  • Algorithm Optimization: Develop and refine quantum algorithms to solve specific AI problems, focusing on quantum supremacy and error mitigation.
  • Model Training: Oversee the training of large-scale AI models on quantum processing units (QPUs) and manage the transition of models to NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
  • Research & Development: Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging quantum computing architectures and integrating them into our AI stack.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor a team of data scientists and quantum engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
  • Security Implementation: Implement quantum-resistant encryption standards to protect proprietary AI models and data assets.

Qualifications

  • Education: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing or AI.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years specifically focused on quantum computing or hybrid systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Q# or Qiskit. Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar deep learning frameworks.
  • Hardware Knowledge: Hands-on experience with cloud-based quantum processors (IBM Quantum Experience, Google Cirq) or on-premise quantum hardware.
  • Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to tackle complex, multi-disciplinary problems with innovative solutions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
