Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization challenges
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate theoretical models against quantum processors
- Secure $500K+ in annual research grants and funding
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates in quantum computing
- Present findings at international conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm implementation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information theory or complexity
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Track record of securing competitive research grants
