Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Lead qubit stability research to overcome quantum decoherence challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants through compelling project proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
