Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization challenges
- Lead experimental research on qubit stability and error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world applications
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype quantum solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in quantum mechanics and linear algebra
- Publication record in quantum information science
- Experience with low-temperature cryogenic systems preferred
- Ability to secure government research clearances if required
