Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-corrected quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors operating at 20mK temperatures
- Lead research publications in IEEE Transactions and Nature Quantum journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum mechanics and computational theory
- Secure $2M+ in NSF/DARPA grants for quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant computing
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Experience with dilution refrigeration systems and quantum control electronics
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
