Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in logistics and drug discovery
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in prototyping breakthrough systems
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Author white papers published in Nature Quantum Information and IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum error correction methodologies
- Develop patent-pending quantum encryption protocols for financial institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing or Theoretical Physics from Tier 1 institution
- 5+ years hands-on experience with IBM Q Experience or Rigetti Forest
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (impact factor >10)
