Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum error correction research
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks

- Secure $10M+ in government and private funding
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing
- Shape 2026 quantum computing roadmap for critical infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit design
- Experience with superconducting/qubit systems
- Strong track record of securing research funding
- Clearance for DoD quantum projects
