Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid models
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure research grants and patents for proprietary quantum innovations
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing fundamentals
- Develop roadmaps for quantum adoption in commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum hardware
- Strong background in linear algebra and computational complexity
- Proven ability to secure research funding from NSF/DARPA
