The Role:
As a Chat Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service that builds trust and loyalty. We are looking for individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to incoming customer inquiries via live chat in a timely manner (within 2 minutes).
- Resolve customer issues, answer questions, and provide product information accurately.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional tone during all interactions.
- Log all interactions and issue resolutions into the CRM system accurately.
- Escalate complex issues to the Senior Support Team or Technical Department when necessary.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products/services within policy.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and weekly training sessions to stay updated on product changes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, technical support, or sales is highly desirable.
- Proven typing speed of at least 40 WPM with high accuracy.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and chat support software (e.g., Zendesk, Intercom, LiveChat).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
