We are seeking a visionary Senior 2D Animator to join our elite creative team at Luminous Motion Pictures. As a Senior Animator, you will not only execute high-fidelity animations but also mentor junior talent and collaborate closely with directors to ensure the artistic vision of every project is realized to perfection.
Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality frame-by-frame 2D animation and motion graphics.
- Collaborate with art directors and storyboard artists to align animation style with project goals.
- Refine and clean up animations to ensure visual excellence and consistency.
- Utilize industry-standard software (After Effects, Photoshop, TVPaint) to create assets and sequences.
- Mentor junior animators and provide constructive feedback on their work.
- Participate in the creative review process to iterate on designs and improve storytelling.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, or character animation.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in frame-by-frame animation and timing.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and/or TVPaint.
- Experience with rigging and clean-up processes is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of anatomy, physics, and motion principles.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take creative direction effectively.
