Job Description
We are looking for a visionary Senior AI Architect to spearhead the technical execution of our 2026 roadmap. At Nexus Horizon Labs, we are building the infrastructure for the next generation of artificial general intelligence. You will be responsible for designing scalable neural architectures and leading a team of elite researchers to achieve breakthrough milestones by 2026.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical research and production-level deployment. You will define the standards for our proprietary neural frameworks and mentor junior engineers to ensure our roadmap remains on the cutting edge of technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Roadmap: Define and execute the technical strategy for core AI modules, ensuring alignment with our 2026 commercialization goals.
- Architect Neural Systems: Design and optimize deep learning models for high-performance computing environments, focusing on latency and throughput.
- R&D Leadership: Conduct cutting-edge research in Transformer architectures and generative adversarial networks (GANs).
- System Integration: Oversee the integration of AI models into our cloud infrastructure, ensuring robustness and security.
- Talent Development: Mentor a high-performing team of ML engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation.
- Technical Strategy: Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications for the 2026 release cycle.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architectural role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes, Spark).
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of NLP, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning, with a demonstrated track record of publishing papers or patents.
- Problem Solving: Ability to tackle complex, unstructured problems and drive innovation in ambiguous environments.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and investors.
