Responsibilities
- Architectural Vision: Define the long-term technical roadmap for our AI infrastructure, specifically targeting the innovations required for the 2026 release cycle.
- Model Optimization: Design and implement efficient deep learning architectures and optimize large language models (LLMs) for inference speed and cost-effectiveness.
- System Design: Lead the design of scalable distributed training pipelines and data processing systems that handle petabyte-scale datasets.
- R&D Integration: Translate academic research breakthroughs into production-ready code and robust API endpoints.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, code quality, and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and designers to translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive user features.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on AI/ML.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering or applied AI research.
- Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, with extensive experience in LLMs, NLP, and Computer Vision.
- Infrastructure: Strong background in cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex, unstructured problems and deliver robust solutions under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
