Responsibilities
- Design and implement bias detection algorithms for generative AI models
- Develop ethical risk assessment frameworks for autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives on AI governance
- Contribute to international AI ethics policy standards bodies
- Research emergent ethical challenges in neuromorphic computing
- Create audit protocols for LLM fairness across cultural contexts
- Mentor junior researchers in applied ethics methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation or explainable AI
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST RMF, and evolving US regulations
- Experience conducting ethics reviews for deployed AI systems
- Strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning fundamentals
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in Responsible AI or similar framework (e.g., Google's AI Ethics Certificate)
