Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global trends across technology, economics, and social dynamics to forecast 2026+ scenarios
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their commercial applications
- Create forward-looking innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and market disruption patterns
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed futurist insights into product development and investment strategies
- Produce high-impact deliverables including trend briefs, scenario plans, and competitive foresight reports
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, conference presentations, and industry publications
- Maintain proprietary intelligence networks with academic institutions, startups, and R&D labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, market research, or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, Web3, AR/VR, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to executive audiences
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and research databases
- Portfolio demonstrating successful futurist projects or published thought leadership
