You'll collaborate with C-suite executives and cross-functional teams to transform foresight into actionable initiatives that position us as industry pioneers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 strategic vision framework through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable future scenarios
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and predictive models for executive decision-making
- Establish innovation pipelines for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-state solutions and validate market readiness
- Represent FutureWorks at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused culture across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of translating trends into market-disrupting strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and predictive modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, books, white papers)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state implementations
