Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to map technological and societal trends through 2026 and beyond
- Develop quantitative and qualitative scenario models for emerging markets and disruptive innovations
- Partner with R&D, product, and executive teams to integrate foresight into roadmaps
- Present future trend analyses to stakeholders using data visualizations and compelling narratives
- Establish and maintain expert networks across academia, industry, and policy domains
- Monitor horizon scanning metrics and forecast accuracy to refine methodologies
- Drive innovation workshops that challenge conventional thinking about future possibilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Economics, Sociology, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, trend analysis, or innovation strategy role
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Published thought leadership on future trends or disruption scenarios
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in tech/innovation environments
