As a key member of our Strategic Futures Lab, you'll work with Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and disruptive startups to anticipate technological, social, and economic shifts. Your insights will directly influence product roadmaps, investment decisions, and organizational resilience planning in an era of unprecedented change.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts relevant to 2026+
- Develop quantitative and qualitative future scenarios using AI-driven trend analysis and human-centered research
- Design strategic foresight frameworks for executive leadership teams across multiple industries
- Produce high-impact visualizations and narrative reports translating complex futures into business strategy
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future literacy within client organizations
- Build and maintain a proprietary ecosystem of futurist experts and innovation partners
- Advance the practice of strategic foresight through thought leadership and industry speaking engagements
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused research role
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Technology Foresight, or related field
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic planning under uncertainty
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
