Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data (AI, biotech, quantum computing, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities by 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 5-10 year strategic foresight initiatives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product roadmaps
- Author visionary white papers and executive briefings on emerging megatrends
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and acquire breakthrough startups
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial impact
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
