Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across AI, biotech, climate tech, and emerging social paradigms
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Present future outlooks to executive leadership and board members quarterly
- Lead innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership content for industry conferences
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic innovation, trend analysis, or futurism roles
- Proven experience translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities for complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in reputable journals or platforms
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major strategic initiatives influenced by your insights
