- Design and lead horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive opportunities across industries
- Translate foresight insights into actionable roadmaps for product development and market entry
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Deliver executive briefings and stakeholder workshops on emerging technology impacts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to solve complex future challenges
- Develop proprietary foresight methodologies and maintain trend intelligence ecosystem
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused research
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial strategy (portfolio examples required)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level storytelling
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, WFS) preferred
- Experience mentoring innovation teams in Fortune 500 environments
