Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps identifying paradigm-shifting technologies and market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and space exploration
- Design and implement scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and technological disruptions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and emerging startups
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation analysts to cultivate next-generation thought leadership
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial success
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in systems thinking and complex modeling
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or at global forums (e.g., Davos, TED)
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Systems Engineering, Business Strategy, or related field
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and managing R&D pipelines
