Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop evidence-based innovation roadmaps with 5-year strategic vision
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and strategic pivots
- Build quantitative forecasting models using AI-driven trend analysis
- Champion moonshot projects with $50M+ R&D budgets
- Mentor junior futurists and establish thought leadership through whitepapers
- Partner with VPs across product, policy, and sustainability domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Proven track record of launching category-defining products/services
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proficiency in AI/ML tools for predictive analytics (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, APF)
- Experience with cross-geopolitical scenario modeling
