Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop predictive models and scenario-planning frameworks for exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 5-year corporate vision and market evolution
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and leadership teams to embed foresight into decision-making
- Publish thought leadership on future trends through white papers, conferences, and industry publications
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate emerging startups and investment opportunities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record developing future scenarios that drove measurable business outcomes
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience translating complex trends into executive insights
- Strong network within futurist communities (e.g., WFSF, Foresight Practitioner Network)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry journals or platforms
- Experience working with C-suite in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
