Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions relevant to 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate future-ready innovations into development roadmaps
- Present compelling future-state narratives to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish cross-functional innovation working groups with R&D, marketing, and operations
- Author quarterly strategic briefings and annual 2026 innovation manifestos
- Represent InnovateForward at global futurism conferences and industry symposiums
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications or journals
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives within large enterprise environments
