As a key member of our Strategy & Innovation team, you'll conduct horizon-scanning research, build scenario-planning models, and translate complex data into compelling narratives that drive organizational alignment. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of technology, sociology, and business strategy, with a proven ability to anticipate future market dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies, market trends, and disruptive forces through 2030
- Develop and maintain scenario-planning models for 5-10 year strategic horizons
- Produce executive-ready trend reports and strategic foresight briefings
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops for cross-functional stakeholders
- Build quantitative forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-range strategic plans
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex insights into executive narratives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/CFP or similar) preferred
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
