Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and macro-trends with 3-5 year impact
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for clients navigating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Produce executive-level foresight reports and visualizations translating complex futures into actionable insights
- Facilitate C-suite workshops on risk mitigation and innovation pipeline acceleration
- Build proprietary trend databases and predictive models using machine learning augmentation
- Mentor junior futurists and contribute to thought leadership publications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record in strategic foresight for Fortune 500 clients or equivalent impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption curves
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for executive audiences
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, cross-impact matrices)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or strategic frameworks
