Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and systemic risks
- Produce executive-ready future-state reports and strategic recommendations
- Integrate futures thinking into product development, marketing, and R&D pipelines
- Establish key performance indicators for future-readiness and innovation maturity
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Published thought leadership on disruptive trends or scenario planning
- Experience with Delphi methods, cross-impact matrix analysis, and causal layered analysis
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
