Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year scenario planning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology and societal shifts
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and climate resilience initiatives
- Facilitate executive workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and market entry strategies
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable recommendations for board-level decision-making
- Build cross-functional innovation labs to prototype solutions for emerging challenges
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to accelerate thought leadership
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and strategic foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
