Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for AI, biotech, and climate tech convergence
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Identify and validate emerging technologies through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Develop KPI frameworks for measuring future-readiness across business units
- Present findings to industry consortiums and publish whitepapers in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary Horizon Scanning Methodology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate modeling
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research in Technological Forecasting and Social Change or similar
- Certification in Shell Foresight Methodology or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three market-shaping future scenarios implemented
