Responsibilities
- Design & Deploy: Architect and implement scalable network infrastructure for 2026 event venues, ensuring high availability and low latency.
- Cybersecurity Leadership: Oversee enterprise-grade security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption to protect sensitive athlete and spectator data.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party technology providers and stadium operators to ensure technical integrations meet strict deadlines.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and execute robust business continuity plans to mitigate risks and ensure operations resume instantly during unforeseen outages.
- Technical Support: Lead a team of junior engineers and technicians, providing mentorship and resolving complex technical roadblocks in real-time.
- Legacy Systems: Integrate modern cloud technologies with legacy stadium systems to optimize performance without disrupting current operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, or systems administration.
- Certifications: Proven certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Event Experience: Prior experience working on large-scale events, Olympic Games, or FIFA World Cup infrastructure is a significant advantage.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei networking equipment; VMware and virtualization; and Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for executive stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
