Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement high-scale, RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
- System Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in legacy systems and refactor code for maximum performance and scalability.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and deploy services on AWS, utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
- Database Management: Design complex database schemas and optimize queries for PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and frontend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Best Practices: Enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and implement CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Node.js.
- Language: Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Frameworks: Deep experience with Express, NestJS, or Fastify.
- Database: Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Cloud: Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS or GCP.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to mentor junior developers.
