Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of venue transformation and legacy projects for the 2026 World Cup.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities, to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to mitigate operational and logistical challenges.
- Facilitate high-level stakeholder communication, providing regular updates to executive leadership and government officials.
- Ensure strict adherence to FIFA regulations, safety standards, and environmental sustainability goals.
- Coordinate with international vendors and local labor unions to streamline procurement and workforce management.
- Conduct site visits and quality assurance inspections to guarantee operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, specifically within large-scale construction, event operations, or sports infrastructure.
- PMP, CAPM, or Prince2 certification is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects exceeding $50M in value.
- Strong understanding of complex logistics, supply chain management, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
- Ability to travel frequently (up to 40%) to project sites across the United States.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
