Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography challenges
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for 2026-scale data processing
- Lead security audits for quantum-resistant blockchain infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum error correction protocols
- Author white papers on quantum advantage in computational biology simulations
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum complexity theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Publication record in quantum information science or related fields
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation libraries
- Deep understanding of Shor's/Grover's algorithms and error mitigation techniques
- Experience with quantum-safe cryptography standards (NIST PQC candidates)
