Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable quantum computing systems tailored for the Project 2026 roadmap.
- Lead a cross-functional team of quantum physicists, software engineers, and data scientists.
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms for complex problem-solving scenarios.
- Establish best practices for quantum error correction and hardware-software integration.
- Translate high-level research concepts into actionable technical specifications and prototypes.
- Conduct rigorous performance testing and validation of quantum processors in simulated environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 3 years in quantum computing or advanced high-performance computing.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, quantum gates, and quantum circuit design.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil).
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum Experience, Google Quantum AI).
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams through the full software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
