Responsibilities
- Architect Immersive Worlds: Design and build high-fidelity 3D environments and interactive experiences using Unity 3D and Unreal Engine 5.
- Spatial Interface Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive spatial interfaces that leverage hand tracking and eye-tracking technologies.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure high frame rates and low latency across a wide range of spatial hardware, including head-mounted displays and AR glasses.
- WebXR Integration: Develop cross-platform compatible applications that run seamlessly on both desktop and immersive devices.
- Prototyping: Rapidly prototype experimental concepts for future 2026 product iterations and industry conferences.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Lead code reviews for junior engineers and establish best practices for 3D asset management and rendering pipelines.
- Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive technical specifications and API documentation for external partners.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in 3D development, with at least 2 years specifically in spatial computing or VR/AR development.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in C# (Unity) or C++ (Unreal Engine), as well as WebGL and Three.js.
- Math Skills: Strong understanding of linear algebra, vectors, quaternions, and 3D mathematics.
- Tools: Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating shipped projects or high-fidelity prototypes in spatial environments.
- Language: Excellent communication skills in English.
