Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging threats and opportunities across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Produce quarterly future-state impact reports with actionable recommendations for executive teams
- Design and maintain a proprietary early-warning system for disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor innovation teams in applying future-thinking methodologies to product development
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic vision frameworks
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent professional foresight credential
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex future scenarios into executive action plans
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations in Fortune 500 environments
