Responsibilities
- Provide instant support via live chat for residential and small business customers
- Troubleshoot technical issues including software glitches, connectivity problems, and account access
- Document interactions using CRM systems with 100% accuracy
- Collaborate with Tier 2 support teams for complex technical escalations
- Maintain 95% customer satisfaction score through empathetic communication
- Participate in weekly training sessions on new products and support protocols
- Monitor chat queues during assigned weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 8AM-8PM)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 6 months customer service or technical support experience
- Exceptional written communication with 60+ WPM typing speed
- Proficiency in Windows/macOS and basic networking concepts
- Ability to multitask across 3-4 concurrent chat conversations
- Strong problem-solving skills with logical troubleshooting approach
- Available for all weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) with flexible weekday availability
- Resident of San Diego County required for local role
