Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience from the moment they enter.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide detailed product information and recommendations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring stock levels are fully stocked and displays are appealing.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges with patience and professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly during peak weekend hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods (2-4 hours at a time).
- Must be reliable and available to work weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
