Responsibilities
- Coordinate on-site execution of weekend events including setup, vendor management, and guest experience
- Lead teams of 5-15 staff/volunteers during high-energy weekend festivals and gatherings
- Implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures for outdoor events
- Manage event timelines and resolve logistical challenges in real-time
- Conduct post-event analysis and prepare improvement reports
- Build relationships with local vendors, sponsors, and community partners
- Maintain inventory of event supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in event coordination or hospitality management
- Availability to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) with flexible scheduling
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing conditions
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience managing teams in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of local Austin venues and event regulations
- Proficient in event management software (Eventbrite, Cvent, or similar)
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
