Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 7am-7pm)
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Accurately document electronic health records and maintain patient confidentiality
- Administer medications and injections following established protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and manage appointment schedules efficiently
- Perform basic lab tests and specimen processing
- Provide telehealth support during weekday hours as needed
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday shifts (4 hours/month)
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
