Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including mobility assistance, vital sign monitoring, and personal hygiene support
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic health records
- Collaborate with medical team to implement individualized care plans
- Ensure sterile environment maintenance and infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during weekend shifts
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification or equivalent medical assistant qualification
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in acute or long-term care
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
