Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and personal hygiene assistance
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercises
- Support family communication and emotional care coordination
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina CNA or Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 6 months of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Valid CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with on-call support
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Availability for all weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) with flexible start dates
- Pass background check and drug screening
