Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under nurse supervision
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient environments
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
- Support daily facility operations and maintain HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous healthcare experience preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Compassionate attitude and patient-centered approach
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Pass background check and health screening
