Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care during weekend shifts (7 AM - 7 PM)
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress accurately
- Assist with mobility, medication administration, and daily living activities
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
- Complete thorough shift handovers and documentation
Qualifications
- Active CNA, HHA, or medical assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year acute care or assisted living experience
- Valid Florida healthcare provider CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Exceptional communication and empathy skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Proficient in electronic health record systems
- Background check and drug screening required
