Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs monitoring and medication assistance
- Assist with mobility support and daily living activities
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in EMR systems
- Collaborate with weekend nursing staff for coordinated patient care
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Support patient education and discharge planning processes
Qualifications
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 1 year healthcare support experience preferred
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Flexibility to cover both Saturday and Sunday shifts
- Valid NY State healthcare worker clearance
